Raster Layers

On the GISCARTA platform you can work not only with vector layers, but also with raster layers. You can configure singleband and multiband rasters.
Styling raster data is divided into 2 types. You can customize rasters using gradients or using multiband display.
When stylizing a raster using a gradient, it is possible to use GISCARTA gradients, as well as create your own gradients. It is important to note that discrete styling is possible. That is, it is possible to adjust the value ranges so that some pixels remain transparent.

Another way to style rasters is to use raster bands. Each spectrum can be assigned its own channel. The maximum and minimum channel values are read automatically and can also be adjusted by the user.
Raster layers are necessary in almost all areas of activity, such as:

  • Environmental studies
  • Agriculture
  • Mining
  • Geology
  • Hydrology
  • Student studies
